Fourth and final Sue for today! I'm all caught up! Yay! It only took a month. :(

Thanks to [info]sinkinto_heart for sending in today's fourth Sue!

TITLE: How To Love A Werewolf
PERPETRATOR: a.little.help.from.my.friends
SUE-O-METER: (bad)

FULL NAME: Alexandra "Lexi" Lynne Potter
SPECIES: Witch
HAIR: "Hermione magically fried and curled her hair so it fell in little waves framing her face." Haha, fried.
EYES: "A beautiful bright emerald green. The greenest I had ever seen. Even greener than Lily's." WOAH! Greener than Lily's?
MARKINGS: Lavender pierces her belly-button.
POSSESSIONS: Clothes that are too big. After her makeover, she gets: "a red vest-type thing that did up in the front and showed her belly-button", "black skinny leg jeans, with a studded black and silver belt", "red high-top converse. (A/N bear with me. I know they don't have any of that crap but still...)".

ORIGIN: Harry has been replaced by this thing. I guess writing Harry/Lupin slash was just too much?
CONNECTIONS TO CANON: Is the girl who lived. She, at the age of 17, is in love with Lupin, and he is in love with her. Hermione and Lavender give her a makeover and she uses Ron to make Lupin jealous. It works: "'I know for sure now that she'll never love me. Fuck, she's with Ron!' he thought as he saw Ron give Alexandra a kiss on the cheek." Eventually they confess their feelings to one another and the world is wonderful with its rainbows and kittens and werewolf pups!
SPECIAL ABILITIES: "Even though she wars pants that are way too baggy, and long sleeve tops also too big, and never wears make-up, she is gorgeous." She is smart like her mom, but is mischievous like her father.

NOTES: Lupin makes a list of the pros and cons. I don't know any man who has ever done this. Can any of the male minions out there tell me if they are the list-making type?

Here is the list:
a) If we break up, we could never stay friends.

b) She is so much younger than me.

c) She could never love you.

d) She probably has a boyfriend.

e) I would probably go to Azkaban.

But then he decided to come up with a list of the good things:

a) I love her.

b) We would be happy

c) I could protect her.

d) I would love her forever.

e) We could have a future together.

f) I could be her family.

g)...

ROFL.

SAMPLE:

"Madame Pomphrey?" Alexandra called out in the Hospital Wing. She came bustling out of her office took one look at Ron and pointed to a bed saying "Put him there dear. What happened?"

"He passed out during Defence. I have no idea why he just... did." Madame Pomphrey nodded. "Thank you dear. You can return to class now."

"Thank you." And she walked off. When she returned to the DADA classroom she noticed that everyone had left. And her bag wasn't there.

She sighed and walked up the stairs to Professor Lupin's office. She knocked a few times and he answered. He smiled kindly when he saw her. "Ah Alexandra. To what do I owe the pleasure?" She blushed.

"I-I erm... I forgot my bag when I brought Ron to the Hospital Wing." She stuttered. He chuckled a bit. "Yes I was wondering if that was yours. It's got a very... Alexandra... touch to it." He said inviting her in.

She looked puzzled. "How do you mean sir?"

He brought it our from under his desk. It was black and had one shoulder strap, it was black with red pain splatters all over it. It also had a whole lot of patches and buttons of some muggle bands. She smiled as he handed it back to her.

She looked like she wanted to say something but refrained from it. "Alexandra? Is something wrong?" He asked concerned. "I er... No. Nothings wrong. I'm fine." But he could tell she was not fine. But he let it drop.

"Alright... Alex?" She looked up surprised. He never called her that. It was one of Sirius' names for her. "Y-Yes." She whispered. Tears came to her eyes as she thought about her late godfather. He had a sad, haunted look in his eyes. "You know you can talk to me right? I'm always here for you." She nodded her head.

He stood in front of her and put his hands on her shoulders. "I feel that-" he gulped. "That after Sirius died-" Alexandra choked back a sob. "After he died... the two of us... you and me have grown apart. We were a family before. The tree of us. I miss that... I want my Lexi back." She was now crying.

"So do I." She said between tears. She looked up at him noticing that he was inches from her face.

Remus looked down at her soft, pink lips then back at her eyes. She did the same to him. Without knowing, the slowly began moving closer together until finally, their lips brushed briefly. But only for a moment. He pulled back and looked in her eyes.

She was not discusted, scared or anything like that. She had a happyish look in her eyes. She looked at his lips again, and needed to feel them against her own, so she gently cupped his face in her hands and pulled him down to her.

He put his hands on her waist as their lips moulded together. He slowly applied more pressure to her mouth as the kiss got heated up a bit more. She wrapped her arms around his neck as if they had a mind of their own.

Her tongue ran along Remus' bottom lip begging for entrance. He readily accepted. Their tongues battled for dominance, but that was when Remus realized what they were doing. He took her by the shoulders and reluctantly pulled her away from him.

He looked at her, shocked. "A-Alexandra I... I'm so sorry I don-" but he was cut off by her saying "Sorry? Why are you sorry? I wanted this to happen." she took a deep breath. "Ever since... it happened... I also feel that we have broken apart. We've just drifted farther apart. And this summer I finally realized how much I missed you. I really missed having someone to talk to.

Sirius was... my father figure and one of my very best friends. But you..." She stopped for a minute to look him in the eyes. His beautiful amber eyes were full of tears that refused to fall. "You... You're the best friend that I eventually fell in love with. Remus I'm in love with you." She was still crying trying not to sob.

He looked at her. He smiled and let out a breath of what appeared to be relief. "Lex... I fell exactly the same way. I love you so-- so much. I only recently realize that it wasn't a father/daughter best friend kind of love either. I'm in love with you. So so in love with you." She grinned. So did he. He moved closer to her and hugged her. She hugged him back as he held her tight against his chest.

"Pinch me." she said. He gave her a confused look. "It feels like I'm dreaming."

"I know. It all seems so surreal." He looked into her big green eyes and leaned down. She met him half way and their lips touched briefly. Then there was a knock at the door...

I'm not male, but my ex had a list of things to do with the girl he cheated on me with:

1. Go out (checkmark)

2. Fall in love (checkmark)

3. _________________

I've seen a guy make a list, but it was usually something like:

Pro:
Puts out

Con:
Fatter than her hot friend
Calls me too much

Usually in that case, pro outweighs con but only for booty calls, and not for girlfriending.

:D

LOL @ friend's list.

Seems like if a guy (any guy) WERE to make a list, it would read like that... And it would be on the back of a receipt or a partially used napkin.

I don't know much about guys in general, but Remus actually does seem like the list making type.

Not so sure about macking on one of his students, 'cause I'm pretty sure Dumbledore would have to sack him (that man will put up with a great deal from his professors, but I'm sure he draws the line somewhere).

God, this fic was bad! Yech.

Lavender pierces her belly-button.

I at first didn't get this and was like "omg, what?! She has a lavender bush growing out of her belly-button?!" And then felt like an idiot.

Sadly, I prefer Hermione or Harry paired with Remus rather than this OC weirdness. But that's just me.

Maybe I'm out of the loop for today's hip, teen lingo (I'm only seventeen! D:) but saying she fried her hair just makes me imagine her sticking her hair into boiling oil and then gnawing on it. Maybe Lupin has an addiction to fried food and she's playing on that?

I am not amused that her penname is a lyric from a Beatles song.

"Lex... I fell exactly the same way. I love you so-- so much. I only recently realize that it wasn't a father/daughter best friend kind of love either. I'm in love with you. So so in love with you."

Am I the only one who read this and thought Lex Luthor?

No, I pretty much thought the same too. Although i can't decide if Luthor/Remus slash would be better than this...

And, of course, Superman's other weakness (Disregarding kryptonite) is magic, so... I'm just going to stop thinking about this, before I inspire some monstrosity in myself or others.

Remus-oh-my-god-so-hot-Lupin?!" Lavender nearly yelled.

I can't imagine Lavender thinking Lupin was hot. I mean, she DID go out with Ron for a while, and I can't imagine anyone who digs Ron finding Lupin attractive. Total opposite looks there.

To be honest, I wish this was better written, and not with a Girl-Who-Lived scenario. This type of story, sadly, is right up my alley - forbidden love affairs and older men, etc.

I don't know, people can have a very wide range in taste for guys (or girls). For instance, I love Legolas (not Orlando Bloom, mind you, Legolas), who's a 'pretty' or 'cute' sort of guy, but I also love Bruce in the new Batman movies (can't remember the actors name), who's a 'dark' type.

I could kind of see Lavender thinking Remus is hot. I don't know why, but she seems the type to have a crush on a teacher. I think she would keep it to herself though, not gush it to girl!Harry.

X's PoV tags = fail!
Switching from 3rd person to 1st person for X's PoV tag = epic fail!
And Girl-Who-Lived stories like this bug me. Why is she at school for her seventh year? Shouldn't she be off fighting Voldemort? If he's already been defeated, or never rose to power, fine, but tell us. You can't just pretend Voldemort doesn't exist, especially since Sirius is still dead.

I don't know why the girls always cry when they profess their undying love and whatnot. I mean, I am female, and I truly do not see myself crying while I tell someone I'm on love with them.

And Lupin is so much older than this Sue. Lupin was uncomfortable with his relationship with Tonks, and mortified when he heard about the pregnancy. I don't think he's go chasing some 17 year old girl.

You know, on the subject of the list, he's missing a con:
f) I will DEFINITELY lose my job.

Also, on the Pro B (We would be happy.) doesn't exactly mesh with Con C (She could never love you.). Also Pro E (We could have a future together.) and F (I could be her family.) are a bit at odds with Con E (I would probably go to Azkaban.)
